After studying economics in Vienna, Fürst Heinrich assumed the direction of the princely Fürstenberg undertakings. He is head of the princely house zu Fürstenberg since 2011.

Fürstin Massimiliana, née Princess zu Windisch-Graetz, has been actively engaged in charitable work in the region since her marriage brought her to Donaueschingen. She founded the IMSED Stiftung, initiated the construction of the foundation’s Antoniushaus, and is also vice-chairwoman of the board of trustees of the Landesspitalfond Hüfingen, sponsor of the Princely Fürstenberg Nursing Home for the Elderly. As Grand Dame of the Order of Malta she is actively engaged in the order’s charities.

Hereditary prince Christian attended school in Switzerland and the United States before completing his study of economics and art history at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He has been working for the family business since 2004. As a knight of the Order of Malta he leads an annual pilgrimage of disabled children to Lourdes.
The hereditary couple has four children: Prince Tassilo (2012), Princess Maria Cecilia (2015), Prince Tristan (2018) and Princess Leontine (2020).

Hereditary Princess Jeannette, member of an industrial family from the Ruhr area, studied economics in Munich, London and Paris. She completed her doctorate with a scholarly examination of the interplay between entrepreneurship and art during the Renaissance using the example of the Medici. She is Founding Partner of “La Famiglia” an European based seed stage venture capital fund investing into B2B technology companies that enable or disrupt large industries.. La Famiglia is backed by a selection of world-leading entrepreneurs from various industries that provide precious early market access, impactful partnerships and deep expertise for the portfolio companies. In 2011, together with her husband she initiated “Fürstenberg Zeitgenössisch”, a contemporary art foundation and artist grant program.

H.S.H. Prince Antonius and H.S.H. Princess Matilde
Prince Antonius studied visual design at the Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA) and works for an insurance broker in Milan. Since 2011 he is married to Countess Matilde Borromeo Arese Taverna, who studied agricultural science and administers her family’s property. The couple lives in Milan with their two sons, Prince Karl Egon and Prince Alexander.
